Marisol Quintero

Marisol Quintero has extensive experience in innovation, technology transfer, and leadership in both scientific and business projects.

Previously, she served as Director of Innovation at the Spanish National Cancer Research Center (CNIO), where she managed strategies to bridge basic research with clinical applications and launched a training program for entrepreneurial scientists.

She also worked as a Technology Transfer Manager at the Botín Foundation, facilitating the transition of innovative technologies from the lab to the market and taking part in the creation of three technology-based companies: Axontherapix, DreamGenics, and Life Length.

Currently, she is a Partner at Columbus Venture Partners and sits on the boards of directors of Lutris and other companies in the sector, while also serving as a speaker and mentor in specialized courses and forums.

Marisol has taken on various roles in the creation, management, and leadership of biotech companies. As CEO of Highlight Therapeutics, she has led multiple funding rounds and overseen both scientific and clinical development. She holds a degree in Pharmacy from the University of Valencia, completed her Ph.D. in Pharmacology at University College London, and earned an MBA from IE Business School.
